1 - Awesome, Tad boring, becky and jessie should be in it. more moving shots.

Reply - Awesome we know, becky and jessie would ruin it, but the idea of moving shots we have considered in the past and we will see how filming goes to weather we use any or not.

2 - Fair, shots rather padestian, good cut with beat, song a little repetative (not your fault though)

Reply - Fair? if the explanation was read then you would have read that there will be more shots, more varied which will in turn lead to more cutting and a faster pace. True song pace is not our fault ask Supergrass about that.

3 - The use of the foot was good (make sure it's in beat) needs more interesting shots, less repetition, try not to have too many shots of necks or chests etc.

Reply - Thank you for the foot comment, when filming i did not have the song so i could not keep in beat and it's a rough go at it anyway. Shots will vary more once again if explanation was read you would know this, the shots of random and unused body parts is an influence we have taken from an actual music video director and it will add a different dimension to the performance and goes against conventions, which is what we are going for. How obvious would it be to do the same as every other performance video?

4 - Like the mixof real action/animatic, nice one boys.

5 - 3 way split shot was good, good range of shots.

Reply - This is the feedback we like. The 3 way shot was josh's idea and should work very well, so 1 nil Josh, and there will be even more shot variation so cheers.

6 - Reapeated shots? Good ideas.

Reply - We did explain but thanks for the concern nd thanks for the praise.

Animatic

This is our animatic. We have used basic close ups all the way through keeping with a fast pace and varying the shots, there will be a wider range of shots than we have demonstrated in this animatic but will be applied in the final cut.

It's a normal peformance video otherwise. End Of!

Good ideas so far- clear concept, very visual!

Video Pitch

The video will centre around simplistic but intresting camra angles and a wide range of close ups, with a simple backdrop, we will use drums, bass guitars and electric guitars and use our close ups on them and there players but we will use unconventional close ups on guitar straps, feet and hands of for example the singer holding the mic and of idle objects such as amps and leads.

with the start of the track we just have the guitar playing so for instance we would have a close up of the guitar players hand and him picking the strings and maybe a close up of the drummer waiting to kick in, and we will see the drummer about to come in but as his sticks go towards the snare, we will cut to the bassist playing, and then concentrate on the lead singer when the lyrics come in.

Three way split screen (two square, and one wide shot), this would be used throughout every chorus, and is alternated throughout the chorus, around the screen.

At the end come out of the conventions of the rest of the video and pan out on the band so we see a wide shot of the whole band together once the last note is played.
